An interior designer is a person whose job is to plan and implement the decoration and furnishings of building interiors. An interior designer discusses with a client to understand their requirements for a project, and then he or she develops a design for the project that is both aesthetically and functionally pleasing.

An interior designer should be good at planning, organizing and solving problems, and have the ability to communicate effectively. They should also be enthusiastic, creative and imaginative, and have a strong sense of design to transform simple and ordinary spaces into beautiful, hospitable and personalized spaces.
