    A school principal is the head administrator of a primary or secondary school. A school principal manages the day to day activities of a school by performing tasks such as employing teachers and other school workers, supervising the admission and discipline of students, and managing school budgets. In carrying out their responsibilities, they may be assisted by assistant principals and other support staff.

    A school principal should be enthusiastic, responsible, objective, persuasive, visionary and good at planning and solving problems to manage their school, make good decisions and develop plans to move the school ahead. They should be able to communicate effectively and relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures.
