Programme Overview

DETAIL’s Internship Programme is tailored to students pursuing a law degree. The Internship provides students exposure to transactional (non-courtroom) practice as well as offers mentorship, career advisory, transaction opportunities and insight into a unique approach to the practice of law from a

strictly commercial perspective. The internship opportunities are offered between June – November each year

Internship Activities

Interns will be provided the opportunity to:

1. Rotate and gain experience in a minimum of two practice areas;

2. Carry out research and writing assignments;

3. Shadow the solicitors responsible for each practice area;

4. Attend client meetings and internal training sessions; and

5. Give a firm-wide presentation at the end of the internship.

If qualified, the applicant will receive an application form to provide more information and shortlisted applicants will undergo a formal interview.

All applicants will be assessed based on ability to reason analytically, work well in teams, and demonstrate a keen commercial awareness.
