xPlug Technologies Limited, an internet generation company, is recruiting to fill the vacant position of Graphics Developer in Lagos
Job Summary
- The Graphics Developer is expected to create both mockups, prototype & final visual designs for web, mobile & desktop applications and also support the entire application development processes to ensure quality output for the final product.
- Responsible for creating compelling and innovative visual designs and multimedia solutions.
- Responsible for the graphical standards and output quality of all projects (web, mobile, desktop).
- Liaising with business and development team to develop user-friendly and engaging graphics and multimedia solutions
- Create wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes of rich interactive interfaces to communicate design concepts
- Design GUI for web, mobile and desktop applications
- Participate in documenting user interaction work flows
- Discover, evaluate, and document design patterns and standards for proposed solutions
- Coordinate design strategy and branding with product team.
- B.SC / HND (Engineering / Physical Sciences only)
- Minimum of 2-2 / Upper Credit
- Degree / Higher National Diploma (HND)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Graphics Development.
- Extensive Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Jquery, Javascript and Visual Studio
- Use of Adobe Suite CS6 or higher (especially Photoshop, Fireworks and After Effects)
- Use of Corel Graphics Suite X7 or higher (especially CorelDraw).
- Extensive Knowledge of Content Management Systems e.g Wordpress, Joomla, Magento etc.
- Good understanding of User Experience
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.
