Ascentech Services Ltd - Our Client is looking to hire someone for the role of a Retail Accountant in Apapa, Lagos.

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

1. Graduate of Accounting.

2. Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting Software.

3. 1-2 years’ experience in working with Peachtree Accounting Software.

4. Proven experience as an Accountant from Retail business.

5. Attention to Detail.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Prepare and maintain financial statements for Retail Company.

• Coordinate daily accounting activities

• Create journal entries in the ledger

• Report financial status to shareholders, and manage accounts payable and receivable.

• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
