Aspom Travel Agency, a travel company, is recruiting to fill the position of Ticketing Officer in Lagos

Job Description

• Book reservation (hotel, flight, tour)
• Filling of application form
• Advising clients on travel arrangements, e.g. visas
• Sending out tickets to clients
• Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
• Keeping clients up to date with any changes
• Dealing with complaints

• AMADEUS OR SABER - courses in reservations and ticketing (A must)
• Must have Amadeus or Sabre Certification and IATA
• Airline advanced passenger tariff and pricing course
• Recognized IATA or knowledge in rules and regulation of airline restrictions
• Coaching skills
• Good written and oral English language skills
• Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet

• Successful candidate must live in Lagos
• 1 to 3 years airline or travel agency experience in a reservations and ticketing role with at a supervisory experience.
• With ability to work under pressure and to short lead times and working on own initiatives.
