Generate original story ideas and develop fresh angles and follow-up pieces for the big stories of the day

Pitch ideas that have broad appeal and impact for a national/global audience

Work with News, Enterprise, Special Projects Editors to get story ideas focused and approved

Basic Qualifications
• Strong ability to write news and feature stories
• Proven experience gathering and analyzing information about newsworthy events
• Expertise writing SEO headlines
• Ability to evaluate news leads and news tips to develop story ideas
• Must have the desire to work in a creative, demanding, competitive environment.
