Yute! Magazine is seeking highly-qualified editorial interns for this summer. These writers will be treated as junior members of our staff. They will have the opportunity to conceive, pitch, and write stories for our website regularly, as well as assisting senior editors in necessary research and reporting tasks, and pitching in with administrative and operational tasks. We’re especially looking for interns who are excited about a particular beat in any of our core subject areas.

We’re happy to help student interns obtain school internships or be your NYSC place of primary assignment.

We are seeking editorial interns who:

• Are excited to work in a digital-first newsroom that emphasizes clear writing, visual explanations, and collaboration between reporters, videographers, and developers.
• Are interested in a career in journalism, as demonstrated through coursework, activity in campus publications, internships at other publications, or your own blog/publication.
