Hubmart Stores Limited, a retail shopping chain, is recruiting to fill the position of an Admin Officer in Lagos.
Job Description
- Supervise clerical and administrative personnel by communicating job expectations, appraising job results, and disciplining employees.
- Set policies and procedures for training, coaching, counseling, and career development for clerical staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operations and function of the department.
- Monitor and procure needed supplies for office, deli, kitchen etc.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained facility that meets environmental, health, and security standards.
- Manage the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Manage office supplies stock and place orders
- Prepare regular reports on expenses and office budgets
- Organize a filing system for important and confidential company documents
- Distribute and store correspondence (e.g. letters, emails and packages)
- Coordinate in-house and external events
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Job Specification
- Applicant must possess minimum of B.Sc/HND in any related discipline.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as an Admin Officer in a retail setting.
- Good organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must possess excellent knowledge of record keeping and file management skill.
