About the Job

The role requires working closely with the business development and underwriting team to provide on-the-ground operational field support in terms of verification applicants businesses at Lendigo. This role may also require other tasks in other departments. Your main responsibilities will be locating clients on the phone or physical location, advising customers on loan repayment management, preparing verification reports, and lastly debt recovery if necessary.

Key responsibilities:

• Working closely with the business development and underwriting team to provide on-the-ground operational field support.
• On the field verification of loan applicants by performing best customer service.
• Locating clients on the phone or physically for verification.
• Advising customers on loan repayment management, preparing monitoring reports.
• This role may also require other tasks in other departments which will expose you to what they do thereby expanding your experience on the job.

Your profile:

• Young, smart and hungry for achieving extraordinary results
• You are a strong believer in getting things done
• You have minimum 1-2 years post-NYSC experience in a loan officer role, preferably with financial services or microfinance
• You have investigative and persuasive skills
• You have knowledge of recovery best practice and approach
• You are effective in communication and reporting
