Ascentech Services Limited is a full-fledged Human Resource Solution Provider incorporated in 2013 with its Head Office in Lagos, Nigeria. We are recruiting to fill the position of a Content Writer in Lagos.

Responsibilities

• Research industry-related topics
• Write clear marketing copy to promote the company's products/services
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customersТ needs and gaps in the company's content and recommend new topics
• Update website content as needed

Requirements

• A B.Sc. Degree in English, Marketing or any other related field
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer or similar role
• Portfolio of published articles
• Experience with content generation for marketing collateral
• Experience doing research using multiple sources
• Experience with outdoor and digital communication
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Ability to meet deadlines
