Job Details
We're looking for someone with a deep sense of ownership to drive quality and compliance of Eden's food product
Here are the things we want you to do with us *
Quality Control
- Develop QA/QC manuals, policies and SOPs
- Ensure all meals produced by the kitchen meets the company’s quality standards.
- Regular monitoring of the food safety process of the suppliers.
- Provide quality feedback on potential quality deviation and provide mitigation plans.
- Managing and maintaining implementations of food safety management systems.
- Monitoring adherence to quality and compliance with company standards and industry regulations and government regulations.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop a raw material assessment process.
Compliance
- Oversee audit processes to ensure the company meets the required standards and gets the relevant accreditations in the food industry (HACCP, ISO 9001:2015, 22000:2018 etc).
- Manage inspection from government agencies.
- Design Standard Operating Procedures and Audit forms.
- Design incident documentation, resolution and management protocol
Health and Safety
- Conducting risk assessments and designing a Risk Management protocol.
- Development and implementation of HACCP and a Food Safety Management System
- Design and implement sanitation and safety standards in the Food Production centre
- Ensure the hygiene of infrastructure and work environment Trainings
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to arrange training in Food Health and Safety for members of the kitchen team.
- Train the front of house team on best practices in handling cooked foods.
Team Management and Administration
- Manage and supervise front of house staff to organise and sort food orders in accordance with the customer schedule for the day.
- Schedule work shifts for employees.
- Submit periodic reports on food production performance to Leadership.
Procurement and Inventory management
- Collaborate with the Head Chef in procurement of items needed for food production
- Design and implement process for proper receiving and handling of fresh produce including defined quality standards
