Eta Zuma Mining and Industries Limited provides a range of services to client companies in the mining, solid mineral, energy and steel sectors. We are hiring a Geologist in Abuja (FCT).

Summary

• We are looking to hire an experienced geologist with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological and geophysical studies to provide information for use in site selection and the development of projects.
• Assess ground and surface water movement in order to provide advice regarding issues such as route and site selection, restoration of contaminated sites
• Logging of boreholes
• Provide report to management on drilling activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Geology or Geoscience
• Experience with various geological techniques like mining, boring and numerical modeling
• Familiarity with environmental regulations
• Good knowledge of the attributes of ores, soil, minerals and other materials
• Ability to handle and analyze data and 3D models
• An analytical mind
• Attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Organizational and teamwork ability
