    Learn@ease is an Educational centre, offering English and Math tutoring classes for children from ages 5 to 19 years. We are hiring a Health Safety & Environment Officer in Abuja.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for overseeing the health and safety of the learning environment.
    • Develop protocols to ensure a safe, quiet environment and ensure compliance.
    • Ensure orderliness before, during and after classes.
    • Ensure a seamless flow of children/parents movement during pick up times.
    • Responsible for the retrieval and management of all lost items.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental protection requirements (e.g.,fumigation).
    • Ensure discipline among children and counsel them on what is expected at all times.
    • Identify hazards in the learning environment and carry out regular orientation for the children on health, safety, and environment policies/practices.
    • Responsible for administering first aid when and where applicable.
    • Keep record of all health and safety cases and events.
    • Liaise with school authorities to ensure all necessary fire and emergency trainings/drills are carried out.
    • Other related duties as may be required by the School authorities.

    Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree in any Course of Study. A training in health and safety would be an added advantage.
    • Outstanding organizational and management skills.
    • Diligent with great attention to details.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Passionate about teaching, learning, and working with children.
    • Good time management skills.

    General Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in any Course of Study.
    • Demonstrable experience in an Admin role would be an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
    • Excellent leadership and time management skills.
    • Passionate about working with children.
