KPMG, a multinational professional services network, is hiring a Networking and Communications Officer in Lagos.

Job Summary

• Aid with the installation and maintenance of network operating software and hardware.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Network and Server Administration
• Aid with the administration of all servers and services.
• Backup all servers on a daily basis.
• Serve as second line of support to the user support function.
• Deploy new version releases for all server environments, including the necessary training of support personnel.

Projects:

• Take responsibility for certain aspects of projects within the office as directed by the Networking and Communications Supervisor.

Qualifications

• A B.Sc degree in Computer Engineering or relevant discipline.

Skills required:

• Real time monitoring of active network devices and servers. Monitor the Data Centre and Disaster Recovery (DR) site.
• Knowledge of Microsoft System Configuration Centre Manager (SCCM).
• Knowledge of VMware VSphere and Microsoft HyperV Virtual environments.
• Knowledge of Veritas Backup Exec.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory / Azure / Office 365 / Exchange Online
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019 operating systems
• Ability to work in cross functional team
• Ability to multi task
• Possess good documentation skills.
