Global Advocacy for African Affairs Initiative, a non-governmental organization (NGO), is recruiting to fill the position of a Programme Officer in Abuja.

Job Description

Applicants are expected to have strong ability in and carry out the following task:

Part A:

• Identify and contact potential grantees for funding.
• Represent brand in industry conferences, meetings and workshops.
• Manage and monitor grants and prepare funding reports.
• Provide guidance and maintain frequent communications with program partners.
• Analyse and troubleshoot program challenges.
• Develop best practices to improve overall program performance
• Identify and contact new program partners for subsidiary business expansion.
• Plan and execute program activities in timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct program reviews and prepare reports for management.

Part B:

• Conceptualize and develop Innovative special projects and specialized sector-based programs
• Coordinate and ensure follow up systems and timelines
• Develop subsidiary's sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
• Co-ordinate subsidiary's sales action plans, targets and activities
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge on behalf of the group
• Establish personal networks; conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis to identify sales, opportunities
• Others as directed by the Executive Director.
