Ascentech Services Limited - Our client, a fashion mall is recruiting to fill the position of a Retail Sales Personnel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Job Description

• We are in need of a very efficient Sales Personnel with an accounting background.

Responsibilities

• Serves customers by helping them with their products selection.
• Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner.
• Responds to customers ‘questions.
• Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters.
• Provides outstanding customer service.
• Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
• Manages financial transactions.
• Processes payments by totalling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
• Alerts management of potential security issues.
• Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc degree in Accounting or any related field
• 2-3 years’ proven experience as a Retail Sales Personnel in a related industry
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behaviour principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Great customer service
• Willingness to work from alternate store locations when needed.
