    Brickstone is an Infrastructure Accelerator with strong competence in early stage project development for large industrial and infrastructure projects. We are hiring a Sales & Partnership Officer in Lagos.

    Job Details

    Sales & Partnership Officer will work alongside the Marketing , Communication and Event Planning team to ensuring all targets are met. Responsible for the acquisition of new sponsors, business partnerships and exhibitors, generating revenue for the Brickstone Products, Events . The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills. The person must have excellent client facing skills and a proactive and quality-led, enthusiastic approach.

    Key areas of responsibility and accountability:

    A. Lead Generation

    • Conducting thorough analysis of potential sponsors and event partners
    • Devise and delivering on the sales strategy and revenue growth for the conferences.
    • Prepare exciting and creative proposals to attract new sponsors and exhibitors at all levels
    • Over achieving on identified sales target and communication activity.
    • Manage, maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients to deliver increased revenues.
    • Producing and executing the marketing plan for sponsorship sales.
    • Building new sponsorship propositions that deliver on clients’ objectives.
    • Focus on new business development to grow the client base.
    • Assisting with association conference research projects, identifying key opportunities, compiling bid documents, tender documents and sales presentations.
    • Assisting the sales team in generating business for Conference Partners through identifying sponsorship potential for potential clients.
    • Liaise with the operations teams regularly to ensure sponsor satisfaction in and around the building on deliverables according to contract.
    • Attending events and liaising with sponsor clients onsite to ensure that their contract is fulfilled and all of their concerns and needs are addressed.
    • Maintaining a sales database, reporting activities and preparing contracts.
    • Ensure that Conference Partners International quality standards are maintained
    • Ad Hoc duties as required.

    B. Event Management

    • Assist procurement, selection and engagement of event vendors and other event production elements.
    • Update Event Reports on a monthly/weekly/daily basis, as progress and commitments are made.
    • Work with Divisional Heads/Managers/Senior Managers to determine weekly meeting schedule and necessary meeting recaps.
    • Communicate with clients in a professional manner and take detailed minutes during client meetings (in-person and via conference call.)
    • Perform event registration maintenance including responding to attendee’s questions, making registration changes, creating discount codes, and providing updates to team members and clients.
    • Work with Divisional Heads/Managers/Senior Managers to order event supplies and make name badge recommendations. Design name badge template in Microsoft Word based on client needs.
    • Assist the Divisional Heads/Managers/Senior Managers with registration rules/parameters (early bird rates and dates, refund and exception policies etc.) based on experience and past year’s registration data analysis.
    • Work with the marketing team to ensure all event logistics and registration information in up to date on the event website.

    C. Sales and Partnerships

    Work with the Corporate Sales & Partnerships, and the Content Design Team to ensure the success of our Brickstone Training & Events the includes

    • Receive incoming calls and listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale
    • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
    • Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business respond to incoming email and phone enquiries
    • Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
    • Writing high quality external communications documents, including sponsorship marketing materials as required (working closely with the events team)
    • Ensure that all approaches to the corporate sector are tracked consistently, through effective use of a CRM system or tracking spreadsheet.

    Key Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience. and corporate event sales experience would be an advantage.
    • Results driven, commercially minded
    • Self-motivated
    • Track record in delivering and exceeding sales targets
    • Ability to develop high value, bespoke sponsorship solutions
    • Desire and ability to source and deliver revenue from new customers
    • Sound commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills
    • Highly effective telephone sales skill
    Other Criteria:
    • Reside in Ojodu-Berger, Omole, Alausa or Lagos Mainland Environs
    • Maximum Age: 32 years
