Now in its fifth year, EatDrinkFestival by Eat.Drink.Lagos is widely regarded as one of the best food festivals in the country. Recognized by local and national media, EatDrinkFestival promotes culinary talent creatively and dynamically. The two-day festival showcases local emerging chefs, hobbyist cooks, mixologists, artisan vendors and more. The Festival features over 50 delicious food and drinks vendors, VIP experiences, masterclasses, cooking/bar battles, and activations from leading Nigerian and international brands.

We’re looking for someone to join our team to lead on Festival Experiences to curate an amazing Festival through experiential marketing. You will work closely with the Festival

Director and the design team to manage Festival experiences and events to create an experience that is thoroughly enjoyable for attendees of all ages. You will manage stage schedules, VIP tents, entertainment acts, Festival interviews, and more! We’re looking for a detail-oriented, multi-tasker who can juggle several moving parts while remaining on top of everything. Knowledge and interest in food, beverage, and pop culture is certainly a plus.

This is a multi-faceted role encompassing strong event logistics, content creation, and aesthetics.

We want someone creative, detail-oriented, obsessive about schedules, who can provide excellent communication to internal and external parties, and bring a sense of organization to what can sometimes feel like a chaotic Festival day.

Our operations are very technology enabled so you will need to be comfortable working with multiple software and online programs including GSuite, Pipefy, Asana, Slack and more.

This is a contract position that allows for flexibility in your work schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

• Schedule sponsorship and production meeting, where necessary take notes and recaps
• Work with Festival Director to develop plans for Festival Main Stage, Drink Stage, and Entertainment Schedule
• Work with Festival Director to review sponsor floor plans and activation plans
• Assist with the creation of unique experiential stations for Festival sponsors
• Coordinate invites for Festival VIPs and tastemakers
• Provide strong on-site on support at the Festival to ensure that all activities on the Festival stages, VIP, sponsor activations take place as indicated and/or scheduled
