    FSDH Holding Company Limited is a non-operating holding company focused on the provision of progressive financial services in Nigeria. We are hiring a Strategy Associate in Lagos, Nigeria.

    The Strategy Associate will be initially responsible for launching our NewCo subsidiary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Strategy and execution support for various subsidiaries on an as needed basis
    • Working across teams to shape the growth strategy and support with projects, including the launch of new products
    • Execute market and competitor analysis, tracking competitor performance, identifying and analysing new trends across different market segments to feed into internal process change
    • Identifying and communicating areas for continual improvement within the company. Recommending and initiating projects to make these improvements a reality
    • Identifying cost reduction strategies, ensuring implementation won’t be at the expense of other company goals, in particular customer experience
    • Developing new product propositions, for customers, planning and driving the implementation and go-to-market strategy for them
    • Supporting teams across the business to improve business-as-usual processes.
    • Identifying ways to provide an amazing customer experience

    Requirements:

    • Have finance and strategy experience with good problem solving skills
    • Have good research skills
    • Are passionate about organizational change and transformation
    • Are energetic, determined and unrelenting
    • Have recorded huge success working in a startup/fintech environment where you have taken ideas from conception to execution.
    • Are looking for a more high level thinking role, where you can see the tangible outcomes of your efforts
    • Are flexible and hungry to roll up your sleeves, and operate from the mindset that no task is too large or too small
    • Has the ability to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to help meet budgetary and delivery goals
    • Have the ability to perform successfully in a high-pressure, fast-pace working environment.
    • Have the ability to work independently with little direction.
    • Have exceptional communication skills, and demonstrated ability to build high-trust relationships
      Experience with Microsoft suite/ Google Suite; comfortable learning new technology (experience with Slack & Teams is a plus)

    Commitment:

    • Full time position

    Hours of work:

    • 50 hours per week, usual working hours are from 8:00am - 5:00pm WAT.
    • There will be a requirement from time to time to start work earlier or finish later as the role
      dictates.
