Now in its fifth year, EatDrinkFestival by Eat.Drink.Lagos is widely regarded as one of the bestfood festivals in the country. Recognized by local and national media, EatDrinkFestival promotes culinary talent creatively and dynamically. The two-day festival showcases local emerging chefs, hobbyist cooks, mixologists, artisan vendors and more. The Festival features over 50 delicious food and drinks vendors, VIP experiences, masterclasses, cooking/bar battles, and activations from leading Nigerian and international brands.

We’re looking for someone to join our team to take charge of the Festivals vendors and make things happen. You will oversee vendor applications, maintain the lines of communication between the Festival team and the event vendors, lead vendor meetings, ensure the vendors' needs are met at the Festival; the list can go on but in essence, you will be an all-around, indispensable go-to person for the Festival team.

To do well in this role you will need to have strong administrative and event logistics skills, be an excellent communicator, be extremely tactful, and patient. You must be able to stand for long hours as the Festival day is no joke. Our operations are very technology enabled so you will need to be comfortable working with multiple software and online programs including GSuite, Pipefy, Asana, Slack and more.

This is a contract position that allows for flexibility in your work schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate the soliciting, selection, information gathering, and Festival communications with participating vendors
• Work with Festival Director to update Festival documents including vendor application guidelines, vendor application forms, vendor checklist, vendor promotional material and more
• Manage vendor meetings including attendance management, event overview, demonstrations
• Worth with Festival Coordinator to ensure on-site vendor needs are met
• Assist Festival Director and team with all event needs during the month of the Festival, including strong on-site support
