Contec Global Agro Limited - we are recruiting the fill the position of a Junior Accountant in Abuja.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
• Provides financial status information by preparing special reports; completing special projects.
• Maintains general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail and control accounts; analyzing and reconciling and accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals.
• Secures financial information by completing database backups; keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Meet and exceed sales quotas, developing long-term client relationships.
• Understand and act as an expert in all organizational products.
• Prospect for new clients in person and over the phone, growing client base.
• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• B.Sc in Accounting / Accountancy or Banking & Finance.
• 2 years working experience.
