    TEKPLUGIN, an information and communication technology (ICT) company, is hiring a Technical Support Officer in Lagos.

    Job Brief

    • We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for this position. You will troubleshoot technical issues, provide timely customer feedback and support the roll-out of new software, among other duties.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot technical issues
    • Attend in-person meetings with clients to analyse, troubleshoot and diagnose software problems
    • Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved
    • support the roll-out of new software
    • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
    • Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.
    • Test and evaluate new technologies
    • Respond to customer inquiries and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges
    • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

    Qualification

    • B.Sc. in Computer science
    • 1-3 years’ experience as a Technical support personnel
    • Expert knowledge in how operating systems and software works.
    • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent time management and organisation
