Your function as a UI/UX Designer is to turn our software into an easy-to-use product for our clients. Your responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphics elements and building navigation components. YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
• Turn our software into an easy-to-use product for our clients
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate UX designs to front end development components into a fully functional software system
• Develop UI/UX verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Create original graphics designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
• Document and maintain designs
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Ensure designs are updated with the latest features

YOUR ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, test and implement new software programs
• Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
• Design and update software database. This includes, but is not limited to: software applications, websites, data communication processes and user interfaces.
• Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization
• Independently install, customize and integrate commercial software packages
• Innovate ideas, and develop them to go-to market stages.
• Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing
• Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability
• Resolve complex technical design issues
• Development of technical specifications and plans
• Analyze user requirements and convert requirements to application design documents
• Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges
• Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues
• Compile timely, comprehensive and accurate documentation and or reports as requested
• Possess up-to-date knowledge of technological developments in the industry
• Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers
• Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure

CORE COMPETENCIES:

• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Demonstrated knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc…
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
• Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
